**Work is remote with preference in Boston, MA or Las Vegas, NV**

Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA) is seeking an organized, outgoing, and driven Sustainability Project Coordinator to ensure KLA’s day-to-day client work is delivered at the highest quality and in the most efficient manner. The Sustainability Project Coordinator will manage client projects and work directly with the client delivery team to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to KLA’s high standards. This position will work directly with the Director of Climate Solutions to support the streamlined integration of new processes and templates into KLA’s client delivery system. 

The right person for this position has demonstrated project management experience, with an ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. You are a quick learner and detail-oriented with an appreciation for the importance of accurate tracking and reporting of time and expenses. You will be responsible for ensuring all project-related financial data and other metrics are provided on a monthly basis to the appropriate departments, such as the Finance Team, and for the KLA Accountability Program. KLA is an all-remote team, so the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with a team through virtual platforms is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
    • Lead the setup of new clients and projects into KLA’s systems.
    • Work with the Director of Climate Solutions to design and facilitate an internal kickoff meeting 
      for all new projects.
    • Coordinate with and provide administrative support (develop agenda and presentation, send calendar invite, take meeting notes, etc.) to host a kickoff meeting with the client.
    • Provide all administrative and coordination support for the KLA projects to ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet KLA’s high standards, as well as the client’s expectations.
    • Track and provide monthly reporting on project key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Administrative Support:
    • Lead client meeting scheduling and coordination, development of biweekly meeting agendas, collection and tracking of meeting notes and action items, and other administrative tasks necessary to support client projects.
    • Coordinate with all client delivery team members and task leads on a per project basis to confirm the status of task completion, time and expense allocations, and any potential areas of concern.
    • Provide regular reports detailing the status of all projects, tasks, and budgets.
  • Financial Support:
    • Act as the point person for the finance team regarding all project-related expenses and invoices to ensure timely approval of timesheets, expense reports, and subcontractor invoices to streamline KLA’s invoicing to clients.
  • Performance Tracking:
    • Provide monthly reports on assigned key performance indicators for each project.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordinator or program management roles and/or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and adept at a range of other relevant programs and tools such as HubSpot, Adobe products, Monday.com, and other project management and finance tools.
  • Experience or knowledge of project management principles (PMP or CAPM certification a plus!)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for sustainability and environmental issues and experience working with local governments are pluses.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000 (commensurate with experience)
