The series shines a spotlight on KLA’s unique approach to local climate action and steps we can take as local governments and as individuals to protect where we live and what we love.

It doesn’t take a PhD to know that extreme heat and devastating storms are damaging our homes, disrupting our economy, and costing lives.

We see it from the headlines to our backyards. We know it’s not normal.

But if you’re concerned about climate change and don’t know what you can do — we’ve got you.

For more than a decade, KLA has partnered with 75+ cities, towns and counties across the country to guide their community members to find One Big Thing that is right for them. We all make choices about how to heat, cool and power our homes and the vehicles we drive. Those choices matter, and it’s how you can be part of the solution.

Together we can protect where we live and what we love. This episode shows what that looks like — and how YOU can be part of it.

Featuring interviews with KLA’s CEO Kim Lundgren, the Mayor of Columbia, Missouri Barbara Buffaloe and Clark County, Nevada’s Director of Environment and Sustainability Marci Henson. Focusing on the fact that both impacts and solutions are local, the episode highlights KLA’s approach that leverages the power of local governments to lead by example but more importantly to inspire their community members to embrace climate solutions in their own lives.
